Not too long ago I wrote an article about the “beginnings” of Forney and Terrell, and while researching the story, I took note of an information “stone marker” close to Walmart in Terrell. I remarked to my wife that I would like for Forney to have something along those lines, only simpler in format.
Well, lo and behold, this past week my wish was brought to fruition in at least three locations in Forney—one by the American National Bank, location of photo in this article—and two others located heading east on Broad Street close to the Brotherly Love Church, and heading south on Bois d’Arc near the Forney ISD Academic Center.
