7:40 Sunday Morning, and we picked up Mom at Three Forks Senior Living and headed off to Water of Life Lutheran Church for the Traditional Service. When it was over, Vivian and I reminded Mom that we were taking her out for Mother’s Day Lunch and asked her if she still wanted to go to Dairy Queen.
Her answer was the following: “I would like the ‘Crispy Chicken Salad’ meal, and I think the best place for that is Dairy Queen!” So, off we went, cutting through Brookshire’s parking lot to reach the best parking spaces!
I let Mom off at the door, and my wife helped her in and to get settled. I parked in the newly-vacated spot right in front of the door, made my way inside, and the three of us placed our orders. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for the best deals and with getting it all just right!
