Alpha Tau Chapter (Kaufman County) of DKG Sorority held April’s monthly business meeting at Water of Life Lutheran Church in Forney and opened with the singing of the Invocation of Thanks and then socializing and enjoying refreshments.
The meeting was called to order, and words of welcome/introductions were spoken by President Mollie Kasper.
A special “thanks” went out to Virginia Fineout, Jana Garner, Mollie Kasper, Karrie Pharris, and Adeline Roberts, this month’s Hostess Committee.
Words of Inspiration were then spoken by Mollie Kasper, followed by Executive Board Reports, specifically the Shoe Drive Fundraiser Update by First Vice-President Vivian Themer, who announced that 1,325 pairs of shoes have been collected to this point and that the drive will conclude on May 14.
