Focusing on making classes fun for kids and parents alike, Jazzy Bugs Wiggle & Dance offers a variety of classes for students of all ages.
“We dance for the love of dance without the commitment of recitals and performances,” says owner, Jessica Roos. Jessica’s mission is to provide a safe, inclusive environment for students to become comfortable with the art of dance. And with currently over 100 boys and girls of all ages enrolled in classes, Jessica and her team of five other teachers are excited to welcome more families to enjoy the physical and social benefits of dance.
Roos opened the studio in September 2014 at the encouragement of her mother. When Jessica was searching for a dance program for her oldest daughter that held to her family’s conservative values, she was unable to find one that would suit her preferences. In discussing this with her mother, she was reminded of her own dance background, which included dance classes as a child and drill team in middle school. Then her mother said simply, “Why don’t you just open one?” After prayerfully considering this idea, Jessica decided to embark on a brand new adventure with the support of her husband, John.
