Dana Curry, the Forney Independent School District’s Coordinator of Community Partnerships was recently presented with the Helping Hands Award by the Forney Chamber of Commerce. Curry was presented the award during the Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Forney.
Curry, a graduate of Forney High School, has worked for Forney ISD for 27 years as a teacher, assistant principal and District administrator. In her current role as the Partnerships Coordinator, Curry works with businesses, churches, clubs, civic departments and a number of other organizations to help develop positive relationships between Forney ISD and the community to benefit students and staff members.
