Near the end of January, the Forney Messenger staff was able to attend the Midwinter Conference for the Texas Press Association in Denton, Texas. With several informative and motivating speakers and a notable keynote speech from retired CBS News anchor and chief Washington correspondent, Bob Schieffer, this conference additionally served as a place to meet vendors relating to print media and representatives from other Texas newspapers.
