“Tuesday, 7:00 p. m., Forney vs. North—are you with me, Power?”
“Yeah, buddy, sounds great. What’s the plan?”
“Taco Casa for a bite or six and then head on over to the gym.”
“See you at six o’clock, Taco Casa!”
Tuesday evening came quickly. Harry was early at the “CASA,” and I was close behind. Tea and Tacos and Tostadas and Salad and “catch-up” conversationthen we were on the way towards the FHS gymnasium, and it seemed “forever” before the Ford and Kia could pierce the LLEENNGGTTHHYY and quickly moving stream of vehicles, heading south on FM 548.
