Forney ISD Synergy Students Present at National Learning Forward Conference

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, Forney ISD Synergy students presented “Are Students Leading Your District?” at the national Learning Forward Conference in Grapevine, TX. Over 2,000 educators from more than 54 states and provinces and 10 different countries attended the conference.

Synergy is unique to Forney ISD. It’s an educational program for high school students to learn and work with district leadership. Students enroll in practicum classes for two or three periods a day, where they travel to the district’s central administration building and work side-by-side with district leaders.
