Residents and businesses can still register for the Forney Police Department, “Forney Community Cam” project. This project is a collaboration with residents who have surveillance systems at their home or business. Home owners and/or business owners can privately register their surveillance systems at their homes and businesses with the Forney Police Department through the project. If a crime occurs near one of the registered homes and businesses, the footage could be voluntarily provided to the department to aid in the apprehension and conviction of the parties involved.
