The Lions concluded their regular season with a 41—13 victory over Angelo State University on SENIOR DAY at Ernest Hawkins Field, Memorial Stadium, in Commerce, Texas.
They will now begin their NCAA—Division II National Championship quest as the #6 seed on November 17 at 1:00 p. m. against #3 seed Minnesota-Duluth, and this Regional Quarterfinal Game will be played in Minnesota.
The Lions led the Angelo State Rams 14—13 at the end of the 1st Quarter, 27—13 at the Half, 41—13 at the end of the 3rd Quarter and the Final Horn.
