It was Senior Night at City Bank Stadium when the North Forney Falcons met up with the Sulphur Springs Wildcats last Friday night. Knowing their playoff fate had been sealed with a loss to Royse City the prior week, the Falcons entered their season finale with the proverbial “nothing to play for”. After falling behind by 10 points early, the Falcons showed their grit and character in scoring 24 of the next 31 points to pull away from the playoff-bound Wildcats, beating them 39-24.

Despite turning the ball over four times, the Falcons played what Head Coach Randy Jackson called, “our best game against a good Sulphur Springs team.”

Both teams finished the night with 387 total yards. Sulphur Springs also turned the ball over four times, including a fumble that the Falcons defense returned for a touchdown.
