PATRICIA MADISON was born in Paola, Kansas, on September 16 and attended Paola High School. She was already employed by attorneys when she graduated, and most of her duties were helping Kansas “senior citizen” farmers with legal matters. She attended church regularly, where she played the accordion and church organ.
Patricia met and married Bob Madison, who was working for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line. They had one son, who lives in Ohio, and one daughter, now living in Forney. After Bob retired, Patricia (affectionately called “Patty”) and he moved to Forney to be near their daughter, who works in the medical field. Later they moved to Three Forks Assisted Living.
Shortly thereafter, she was widowed, and it was her first time to live alone. However, she soon felt safe and secure, since she is surrounded by her neighbors and a caring staff. Patty enjoys the weekly outings and eagerly listens for the driver to say “all aboard.”
