Last week Lori and I celebrated our fortieth anniversary with a quiet dinner together after Church. I can honestly say that I love her as much as I ever did and I cannot imagine what life would be without her. She is my best friend. When something good happens, I can’t wait to get home to tell her. When something bad happens, I know I can count on her to share the burden and talk through it.
When I think of the most beautiful women I know the picture of her beautiful face is the first to form in my mind. I can’t think about my beautiful wife without getting butterflies in my stomach. When I speak about her to others it is always with pride. Even when we disagree you would be unlikely to know it. Because I would never talk about it with anyone else.
