Matthew 5: In this chapter, Jesus starts teaching the people about the new church age. The people had never heard a common unlearned man teach in this manner. He preached and taught with authority about events to come. When He told the people that He was the Son of GOD, the Jewish leaders were outraged and wanted to get rid of Him.

The problem was that Jesus was doing miracles that no human had ever done. He proved Himself over and over before their eyes. Jesus healed many people while many people watched. A great crowd followed Him everywhere He went.
