Timothy Kevin Spillman

Timothy Kevin Spillman of Forney passed away June 6, 2018. Born in Dallas August 4, 1959 Tim was preceded in death by his father, Ted Spillman, grandparents, Guy and Marie Jones. He is survived by wife Elizabeth, son Ted Jay and wife Sara, brother Ted James Jr. and mother Sammy Lou Spillman and first grandchild, baby girl Riley due in July. Tim, graduate of North Mesquite 1977, was active in sports and was awarded the Stallion award his senior year. He liked to fish, hunt, golf and ride his motorcycle. He was a member of Rumble Rides Motorcycle Club. Tim began his law enforcement career in Cedar Hill, retiring from University Park Police department after 27 years. He was assistant Chief with Kaufman County Sheriffs Department. He was loved and respected by many who he mentored and helped. Known for his sense of humor and warm smile. Cancer took Tim very quickly. He is greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral and burial was at Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, June 11, 2018.
