Jesus spent the last days before the Passover, when He would be crucified, teaching and trying to convince His disciples and followers what was about to happen to Him. They could not understand His words because they still believed He would restore the Kingdom very soon. The Pharisees were searching for a way to arrest Jesus and put Him to death. About that time Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Jesus, went to the Pharisees and asked what they would give him if he led them to Jesus. They bargained with him for thirty pieces of silver.
