“Jackrabbit in the Stands” hops up and down as Boys knock off Texas High, Texarkana, 9—3, at Rockwall Heath in game one!

Thursday was a beautiful day in many ways—weather, quality baseball field and location, outcome against a top-ranked team!

After visiting the concession stand, my wife and I found good seats in the shade right next to our ol’ buddy, Ken Miller, who has helped us immensely with game information, and not far down from Thomas and Carl Eudy and Derrick Brian, who have also given us the “lowdown” concerning important statistics and “maybe true” stories. “Father” Englert was seated not too far away and was already busy “studying” the situations.
