Facebook has been getting on my nerves. I’m not a big fan of government regulation, however it is becoming clear that it is controlled by people of a political bent that isn’t the way I lean. Even so I don’t want to see a lot of government regulation attached to it or any other area of the internet.
For me, recent hearings in congress with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg haven’t been so much shocking as they have been validating. I have always suspected that our data was being sold and that has been pretty much confirmed. The evidence is pretty overwhelming when you do a search on the internet for a product on your web browser, then ads pop up with that very product, every time you scroll down your feed on Facebook.
