The Lady Falcon soccer team entered Playoffs for the first time in school history last week. On Thursday night, they traveled to Greenville to face Mount Pleasant for the bi-district round. After going down 0-1 in the first half, the Lady Falcons came back strong in the second half, scoring to tie the match at the end of regulation. The lady falcons continued play, scoring in overtime to defeat Mount Pleasant 2-1. Both goals were scored by junior, Emma Hawkins.

“I am very proud of how the players handled themselves throughout game play. We started off slower than we would have liked, and had the wind at our faces, however we regrouped after half time and came out to dominate the second half of play. There was opportunity for them to give up, but they refused and proved their determination to win”.
