Firefighter honored by Forney Fire Department and Others

On Tuesday, 3/20/18, between 3:00 p. m. and 4:00 p. m., the Forney Fire Department sent its “big trucks” to “stand guard and pay tribute” to honor the passing of a fellow firefighter, Captain Randy Willmon, age 53, of Lindale, Texas.

According to Lieutenant Russell Bannister and Assistant Chief Philip Pyle, who earlier in the day were asked for a statement, the two “big trucks” would be be stationed on top of the Gateway Bridge as the funeral procession passed by and under on the way to Lindale in honor of the life of Captain Willmon.
