The Dallas Christian Girls Basketball team fell short in their pursuit of a 3rd straight TAPPS state basketball championship when they were defeated by Tyler Grace in a hard fought Area Playoff game by a score of 46-43 at Tyler Grace. Tyler Grace went on to become the TAPPS 5 state champions for 2018. Dallas Christian will be returning seven letterman, all seven have been awarded with All-State and/or District Honors, Four of these returners are Forney Residents and they include Tori Jones, Jenna Rasbury, Jordan Hammons, and Taylor Jones. Taylor received All-State honors in 2015-16 and also 2016-17 but sat out this year due to surgery and is one of the top basketball recruits in the nation.
