Forney, TX--In San Marcos last weekend, Rhythm House Dance Studio competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country. Team coaches are Camie Gibson, Cassidy Pinkston, Katie Kiefer, and Hannah Hickman.Their entries placed as follows:
‘’Beauty School Drop Out’’ received 4th place overall in Mini Performance Small, ‘’It’s About That Walk’’ received 2nd place overall in Junior Performance Small, ‘’Babylon’’ received 3rd place overall in Junior Performance Small, ‘’Drowning Shadows’’ received 2nd place overall in Teen Advanced Small, ‘’New York, New York’’ received 1st place overall in Teen Advanced Large, Josh Dabney received 2nd place overall in Senior Advanced Solo, Bethany Willson received 2nd place overall in Junior Advanced Solo, Angelina Chirico received 7th place overall in Senior Advanced Solo, Madelyn Gonzalez received 3rd place overall in Mini Advanced Solo, Kendall Gibson received 1st place overall in Mini Performance Solo, Betty Lansdale received 5th place overall in Teen Performance Solo, Arely Beza received 10th place overall in Senior Advanced Solo, Hailey Harrell received 9th place overall in Teen Advanced Solo, Addison Martinez received 1st place overall in Mini Performance Solo, ‘’I Lived’’ received 3rd place overall in Teen Advanced Duet/ Trio, ‘’Here To Mix It Up’’ received 1st place overall in Junior Performance Duet/Trio, ‘’Cuban Pete’’ received 8th place overall in Mini Performance Duet/ Trio, Lauryn Sanford received 6th place overall in Mini Performance Solo, and Rhythm House Dance Studio received 6 double platinum awards; 11 platinum awards; 2 gold awards; This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in either Sandusky, Myrtle Beach, Anaheim, or Galveston this summer.
