A couple of decades ago I was browsing the books on cassette at Half Price Books and discovered something called “Texas Bound”. It was a collection of short stories by Texans read by well known Texan’s who had gone on to become famous in movies, on TV etc.
I loved the first volume so much I bought every one that I found. The stories were read at the Dallas Museum of Art and called the Arts and Letters series. The event has taken place a couple of years for the better part of thirty years, but I have only found recorded performances from the first few years. About ten years ago, our friends Ken and Judy Schoen took us to a live performance.
