The Falcons were able secure to a victory on the road Tuesday night as they held on and defeated the Tyler Lee Red Raiders, 10-8, at Mike Carter Field. While games at this point in the season are more to gauge where your team is before district play rather than it is about results, North Forney has to be feeling good about where they are after putting away the Red Raiders.

The pitching staff put on another strong display Tuesday night as starter Corbin Thompson shut the opposition down for three masterful innings, along with three more scoreless frames from Valdemar Gonzalez, who continues his dominant preseason so far and showing he can be a reliable weapon for Head Coach Zach Geer this season. Sophomore Logan Williams had two solid innings of work, dancing out of trouble both times and only giving up one run.
