The gospel of John chapter 2 tells of Jesus’ first miracle
After Jesus had called His disciples, He was invited to a wedding. His mother was there and after the wedding was under way, they ran out of wine. Mary knew Jesus had the power of GOD in Him so she told Jesus that they had no more wine. There were six water pots by the well where the guests washed their feet before entering the house. Each pot held from twenty to thirty gallons of water. Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots full. That was more than one hundred and twenty gallons of water that some believe Jesus turned into wine. Others believe Jesus told them to fill the water pots to show the well did have water in it. When the pots were full, Jesus told the servants to draw out now and take it to the Master of the feast. I believe Jesus told the servants to draw out of the well and take it to the master of the feast. Changing the water in the pots to wine would have given over one hundred and twenty five gallons of wine. I do not think Jesus would have given that much wine to be used until it ran out. What we know for sure is Jesus changed the water into wine.
