In Texas, making a trip to Austin at the end of your high school season pretty much means one thing. It means you are among the best of the best and you are going to Austin for the State Finals, with a chance to become a Texas State Champion. Any athlete making it to State deserves to be recognized, especially when they are the first representatives from your school to ever do so! So, let’s take a moment to recognize the following: Forney Jackrabbit male swimmers in the 400M (4 x100) freestyle relay, Ben Santibanez, Clay Henson, Jon Lindemann, Jorge Ochoa and Stefano Frau. The team finished in second place at the Region 4-5A championships, with a time of 3:35.93.
