Haley Penn, 22, and a 2013 Forney High School graduate walked the podium to receive her Bachelors of Social Work degree, with Magna Cum Laudem, from Texas Woman’s University on December 15th. Since fall 2015 at Trinity Valley Community College, Haley has been on the Presidential List every consecutive semester. To receive the presidential list, a student must achieve a 4.0 GPA for that given semester.
About her experience at TWU, Haley said, “What made it so great was my professors and the atmosphere at TWU. The professors really want us to succeed and they really care about us.”
