On January 27, the North Forney Falcon Boys and Girls Power Lifting Teams hosted the North Forney invitational Meet.
Note: At a Texas high school power lifting meet, there are three events/disciplines. They are the squat, the bench press, and the dead lift. Also, each competitor competes in their own personal weight class.
The schools at the meet this year were North Forney, Forney High School, Sunnyvale, South Garland, Waxahachie, Royse City, Maypearl, North Mesquite, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Argyle, Lovejoy, Rockwall-Heath, Quinlan Ford, Rowlett high School, Scurry-Rosser, Ennis, and Fort Worth Western Hills.
