The Forney Lions Club was able to fulfill the wishes of 228 Angels from 95 families in their annual Angel Tree drive. Students from North Forney High School collected 225 canned goods to donate to families in need. Athletes from the Forney High School soccer team assisted the Lions in sorting and organizing the donated toys and food. Fire Fighters from the City of Forney helped unload, sort and load donated items. The Forney Lions Club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held at 6:45 in the Warren Middle School Cafeteria 811 South Bois d’ Arc.
