Henderson Elementary takes part in painted rock craze

Henderson took a little over a month to have every Henderson Hawk take part in this rock project. The idea was brought up based off the book “Only One You” by Linda Kranz. The book talks about that even in a sea full of fish we are all special and different in our own way. The students read the book and were given the opportunity to paint a rock in a way that would make them smile when they see it. Even the staff of Henderson contributed a rock to the project! Way to go Ms. Jones and Henderson Hawks students and staff!!!
