Last November, Sharing the Love Foundation hosted its annual fundraiser the 10th annual Turkey Trax Auto Show and 5K Family Fun Run, with proceeds from the Fun Run benefiting our local Forney VFW. On Saturday, December 16th, the Young Ambassadors presented a check to the veterans in the amount of $505 for the money raised from this event! Following this presentation, the Young Ambassadors delivered dozens of Christmas packages to the senior citizens in and around Kaufman County. This annual event - with donations given by local Forney residents - is just one last way to give back to our community.
A total of 76 presents were delivered on Saturday. In addition to outreach programs the Young Ambassadors do monthly community service projects.
