What began as a small-scale toy collection process has evolved into a well-organized event that in 2016 provided more than 400 children in Forney with toys during the holiday season.

Residents will be able to donate and drop off toys for the campaign at a number of locations throughout the City including the Ellen Brooks West Memorial Library and main office, 1800 College Ave.; City Hall, 101 E. Main St.; Central Fire Station, 104 E. Aimee St.; Forney Sub-Courthouse, 200 E. Main St. and the Forney Food Pantry, 222 Industrial Dr. Donations will be accepted during normal working hours at each location through December 22. There will also be donation boxes during the Christmas in the Park event on December 2. All toys should be in their original packaging without gift wrapping.
