On Tuesday morning November 6, the Forney High School Marching Band departed the FHS parking lot headed to San Antonio to compete in the 2017 UIL State Marching Contest. This will be the fifth time the Forney High School Marching Band has competed in the class 5A UIL State Marching Contest since 2009.
On the way out of town the buses carrying the band to San Antonio pulled through the Warren Middle School, Johnson Elementary, Administration building, Claybon Elementary, Rhea Elementary and Henderson Elementary School parking lots for the students to wish the band good luck.
