MESQUITE, Texas - The Forney High School and North Forney High School Marching Bands both recently competed in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) 5A Area C Marching Band Competition on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Mesquite Memorial Stadium in Mesquite, Texas and advanced to the finals. The 5A Area C competition is the final competition for marching bands to advance to the State Marching Band Competition. The State Marching Band competition is held every other year for Class 5A marching bands.
High school marching bands in 5A Area C all performed in a preliminary round to start the competition on Saturday, Oct. 28.
