The Pride of Falcon Nation Band would like to Congratulate Andrew Fitzgerald, Senior bass trombone player, and Jason Whitaker, Junior tenor trombone player, on making the All Region Jazz Band! On September 20th, these gentlemen auditioned at North Mesquite HS against other high schools in Region III. Andrew Fitzgerald made 1st chair bass trombone in the Jazz Ensemble, and Jason Whitaker made lead trombone in the Jazz Ensemble.
We are also very proud of Andrew Fitzgerald for advancing to the TMEA All- State Jazz audition. Andrew taped for State on September 28th, for a chance to win 1 of 4 seats that are available in the State. We look forward to hearing the results of his audition on November 15th.
