Homer Ray Riley

Homer Ray Riley of Forney, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was also a longtime resident of Houston, Texas and Bedias, Texas. Family will honor his life in a private memorial with Lester Graf officiating. Homer was born April 6, 1928 in Houston, Texas to John Homer Riley and Kathryn Donna Morris. Homer married Dorothy Jearlene Simmons in Houston Texas on December 8, 1956. He retired from Managing the Lomas and Nettleton Credit Union in Houston Texas. Homer is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Riley, his parents John Riley, Kathryn Riley and brother John Morris Riley. Those left behind to cherish his memories are his sons, David Ray Riley and wife Debbie of Forney, Carl Leslie Riley and wife Marie of Pearland, TX; and daughter Carol Lisa Stockstill and husband Bill of Houston, TX. Grandchildren Leah Clark, Jearlene Riley, Jason Ottwell, Josh Ottwell, Adam Riley, Tyler Newsome, Ryan Newsome, Jennifer Collette, Daniel Collette, Tracey Lewis, seven great-grandchildren and other relatives. Homer was passionate about reaching others with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
