Forney--Many months ago Lions International sent out flyers asking that Lion Clubs launch a campaign against hunger by filling a truck with food. Well the Forney Lions Club did one better. On the very day 9/16/17 that Lions International asked that the Campaign finish up, the Forney Lions Club had Musser Chevrolet out of Terrell deliver two big trucks to Brookshire’s and Walmart in Forney so that the trucks could be filled with food. The Forney Lions also contacted the Forney Food Pantry and asked if they would like to work with the Forney Lions Club so that they could be the be the beneficiary of all the food.
