On Tuesday, August 29, the Forney Lady Rabbit volleyball team defeated Mesquite Horn in straight sets by a count of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-23. Note:
Mesquite Horn was a 6A playoff team last season. Then, on Tuesday ,September 5, state powerhouse Waxahachie defeated Forney in four sets by a count of 25-16, 16-25, 25-20, and 25-23. Note: Waxahachie was a 5A playoff team last season. With these results, Forney’s overall record now stands at 20-5.
