Our beloved father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather George Horace Davis passed away August 4th, 2017. Horace Davis was born in Forney, Texas at home to Leona and James Jefferson Davis and was raised in Forney and Sunnyvale, Texas. Horace graduated from Mesquite High and in 1952 married his sweetheart Joan Bannister to whom he remained married until his passing. Horace will always be remembered for his BIG SMILE, his knack for fixing or building anything imaginable, AND his hilarious real life stories. Horace Davis was preceded in death by his father, mother, and seven siblings. Horace leaves behind his loving wife Joan, two loving daughters, Kathy and Donna, three loving granddaughters, Brandi, Blair, and Hanna, and one loving great-grandson Austin. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Per our wonderful father’s/grandfather’s wishes, there will be no service held.
