Body

Marilois Eudy passed away peacefully on the morning of August 4, 2017. Born November 28, 1939 in Kaufman, Texas to the late Carl and Annebell McKee White, both of whom preceded her in death along with her sister, Mickie Lear. Marilois graduated from Kaufman High School in 1959 and on November 2, 1963, she married Thomas Eudy, the love of her life and they were inseparable from that day on. She retired from a long and respected career with Zurich Insurance Company. She was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church in Forney where she always had a smile and a helping hand for any activity. After retirement, she devoted her time to her two cherished grandsons and seeing to their every need (which  could also be known as ‘lovingly spoiling’!) by supporting and attending every event each grandson was involved in. Those left to carry on Marilois’ legacy are her husband Thomas Eudy of Kaufman; daughter, Sara Brian and her husband Derek of Forney; son, Brad Eudy and wife Christina of Tumwater, Washington; her two grandsons who were the joy of her life, Conor Brian and Lanham Eudy, as well as several nephews, nieces other relatives and a host of friends who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends 4 - 6 pm, Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017 at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations. Funeral service will be at 10:30am, Monday, Aug. 7, at Max Slayton Funeral Chapel in Terrell with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Marilois’ love for her Forney community, the family is asking for contributions to be made to the Hillcrest Cemetery Association, PO Box 1033, Forney, Texas, 75126. Condolences, stories and pictures may be shared with the family at www.maxslaytonfunerals.com.
