The second was about our growing dependence on our devices and the “online experience”.
The article was titled “The Age of FoMO” by Sharon Begley. I’m so behind the times (ask my son) that I didn’t know what that meant. At first I feared it was about our basic lack of civility, something akin to MoFo. Then I looked it up (online, of course) and discovered it’s an acronym for Fear of Missing Out. Being naturally introverted, I’ve never been troubled by this. I enjoy missing out if it means I have more time alone with my thoughts.
