Artist uses piece to convey Forney history, residents’ connection to railroad

An artist with a studio located less than a mile outside Kaufman County has produced a piece of art that is now on permanent display alongside the caboose in “Cary’s Corner”, the miniature park to the west of S Bois d’Arc and just north of the Texas and Pacific railroad track.
The Forney Art Council hosted the unveiling ceremony Saturday morning, July 22. Those attending the unveiling included representatives of the Forney Arts Council, the Forney Economic Development Corporation, and the Forney Parks Dapartment.
