A couple of months ago I got an advertisement on my Facebook news feed that tickets were about to go on sale for the 70th Birthday Celebration for the Eagles’ lead singer, Don Henley. It was billed as Don Henley and “Special Guests”. Now, I don’t go to a lot of concerts but when I was younger I went to more than my share and I have the hearing aids to prove it. This particular concert had the feel of a “once in a lifetime” event, and I wasn’t going to miss it. So I shared the ad on my Facebook feed and asked if anyone wanted to go. My daughter Tabi quickly said she would like to go and a long-time friend, Tamara Beason, commented: “Me, Me, Me.” This was shaping up to be an interesting group.
