Bathrooms, property taxes— and overreach

On Tuesday, Texas Senate Republicans voted overwhelmingly to pass SB 3, one of the versions of the so-called “bathroom bill” that have been floating around the Texas Legislature.
SB 3 passed with preliminary approval by a vote of 21-10. It will undergo more Senate debate before it goes to the Texas House, where there’s a lot more opposition.
