Forney police recently made it safer for local residents to conduct exchanges with people they’ve initially contacted online.
The blue-striped parking spaces with blue signage at the Forney Justice Center are designated as “exchange zones”—and they’re monitored 24 hours a day. The parking spaces provide a safe alternative to meeting strangers in private residents, shopping centers or gasoline stations and are meant to deter potential criminal activity.
