FHS student wins award at SFA band camp

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Rainy Rigdon, a Junior band student at Forney High School, was an awardwinning participant in the 2017 Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music’s series of band camps for middle and senior high school instrumentalists and drum majors. Rainy Rigdon received the Most Outstanding Woodwind Award as a member of the High School Concert Band. More than 600 students participated in this year’s camps.
