On June 24 and 25, a young group of residents from Forney took part in the USA Weightlifting Youth National Championships held in Atlanta, Georgia. Representing the Cross- Fit Forney Kids Program,
20 Mustang Ct., were Marcos Råuiz (9), Caitlin Everett (10), Bryton Danner (12), Elizabeth Abramson (12), Coy Whitley (13) and Rees Cooksy (14), whom all previously qualified for the National Championships through previously held competitions.
