Crews began pouring concrete for the new sidewalks along the north side of E. Main St. June 23. The pouring began at the corner of E. Main and Elm St. Chris Kirk of Axis Construction told attendees at last Friday’s Donut Shop Summit that the new sidewalk work will “look pretty good” by the end of this week.
Before work shifts to S. Bois d’Arc after the July 4 holiday, E. Trinity St. will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic to allow crews to extend drainage lines across E. Trinity to tie in to a storm drain to be constructed parallel to S. Bois d’Arc. The closure should last only a day or two.
