FORNEY, Texas— The Forney Education Foundation recently inducted its first ever Legacy Member into the non-profit organization. Keith Bell was inducted as a Legacy Member during a ceremony held at the foundation’s monthly board meeting on Monday, June 19, 2017. The meeting and ceremony was held in the Forney ISD Board Room located at the Forney ISD Central Administration Building.
To qualify and be nominated to be a Legacy Member of the Forney Education Foundation, an individual must be an original founder of the Corporation or have a minimum of ten years of service as a Director, and must be recommended for Legacy Member designation by the Foundation’s Nominating Committee and presented for approval by the Board of Directors. An individual approved as a Legacy Member shall serve as Director until his or her death, or until resignation.
