 Dd you know that:

 • The armadillo can carry and transmit leprosy?

• A number of vegetables seem to have images embedded within them that may show what human organs they’re designed to help—for example, that sliced carrots show images resembling eyes?

 • A new kind of service dog is able to tell when a diabetic’s blood sugar gets dangerously high?

 • Chairs haven’t changed in thousands of years. A chair in a collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt looks almost like a chair in our formal dining room.

• Public rest rooms in ancient Rome bore a strong resemblance to those today. The main differences? There were no stalls or toilet seats, toilets usually emptied into a river running underneath, and both sexes used the facilities—at the same time. (Caesar obviously had never heard of a “bathroom bill!”)
